Moral Stories | Other Side is Always Greener

Is the grass always greener on the other side?

Moral Stories are those stories that give a message to readers usually the stories are short and can be read within a few minutes.

Kids enjoy short stories, simple and moralistic type wherein a good message is stated or conveyed.

There was a tiger who was kept locked in the cage and he always been upset with himself because his freedom was curtailed. He revealed his annoyance by showing his white fangs whenever he saw other animals moving freely.

He was craving for freedom, he was fed up, and he was helpless. He hoped that like other animals he would be able to run freely in the wild jungles and catch his favourite prey.

His master did not feel pity for him and took extreme care and ensured the cage is secure, he was his pet.

The other animals passing by see him every day inside the cage relaxing and eating good quality food and feeling jealous.

“How lucky he is, he gets so much food to eat and look at us we are struggling for food,” said the other tiger to his counterpart.

The tiger inside the cage had other thoughts “See how happy these animals are, nothing to worry about and they are so happy. They are free to go wherever they like and eat whatever they want and look at me all the time locked in one place”

These were their feelings and thoughts towards each other. And it is very common between us humans too.

But, walk in their shoes to understand the truth, the other side is never greener as most assume it to be.
